January 2005, he was deployed to Ramadi, Iraq, with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Regiment, 1st Marine Division, as an assistant intelligence officer. This unit was responsible for maintaining order in much of Ramadi.<\/p>\n

Major Sean Frederick Kuehl lost his battle with PTSD, June 19, 2013, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was 35 years old.<\/p>\n
