US Marine Corporal Brandon D “Bubba” Meyers, born April of 1988, of Plainfield, Illinois, beloved son of David and Wendy Meyers; beloved brother of Tiffany Meyers.<\/p>\n

He was a 2006 graduate of Plainfield High School.<\/p>\n

Brandon joined the US Marine Corps right out of high school and after completing basic training he served two tours in Iraq, attaining the rank of Corporal.<\/p>\n

Bubba spent countless hours working on cars with his dad, and was currently restoring his ’68 Chevelle. He also loved spending time riding his Yamaha motorcycle and enjoying the many freedoms in life he fought to preserve for all Americans. He loved spending time with his sister; shooting pool, kayaking or just talking. Most of all, Bubba was a true friend. He possessed a heart of gold and generously gave anything he had to someone who needed it more than he did. He was proud of who he was, who he became and proud of the years he gave to his country.<\/p>\n
