US Marine Lance Corporal Timothy F Ryan III, born July of 1987, in Stoneham, beloved son of Anne Marie Hanson and Timothy F Ryan; beloved brother of Jessica and Kristina.<\/p>\n

Tim was raised in Wilmington, and attended Wilmington Public Schools, graduating Wilmington High School in 2005.<\/p>\n

Shortly after graduating, Tim enlisted in the US Marine Corps. He was a proud Marine and served his country faithfully, serving two tours of duty in Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom earning the rank of Lance Corporal. He was honorably discharged in December of 2010.<\/p>\n

Tim was a real “guys guy”. He loved sports, including football, soccer and baseball, he was a huge Red Sox fan. He enjoyed fishing, skiing, and outdoor activities at his house in Maine.<\/p>\n

Tim was a hard worker and had a never quit attitude. He was a true friend, he was kind and loyal, his sense of loyalty was unquestionable. He would go out of his way to help anyone. Tim was a man of integrity and his word was worth more than any contract.<\/p>\n

Tim was a wonderful son, brother, cousin, uncle, friend, a proud Marine and a true American. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.<\/p>\n

LCpl Timothy F Ryan III lost his battle with PTS, May 7, 2011. He was 23 years old.<\/p>\n
