Army Sergeant Spencer Levi Hiatt, born August 2, 1989 in Tucson, Arizona. Beloved son of Jeffrey L Hiatt and Cristina L Kelly; beloved brother of Haile, Dakota and Tacy.<\/p>\n

During his childhood his family lived in Tucson Arizona, Houston Texas, Charlotte North Carolina, Conway Arkansas, and finally in Cedar Hills Utah.<\/p>\n

Shortly after high school, Spencer joined the United States Army. He served a tour in Afghanistan and another in Kuwait. He received numerous awards, medals and recognitions for his honorable service. He began attending UVU last fall working toward a degree in Nutrition.<\/p>\n

Spencer had an indomitable spirit, which served him well to move beyond the many difficult challenges he faced. He was honest, selfless and loyal. His family and friendship were the most important things in his life and he was so excited about being a father.<\/p>\n

Spencer is survived by his parents Jeffrey and Kellyann Hiatt, birth mother Cristina Lynn Kelly, his sisters Tacy (Will and son Wyatt) Myers, and Haile (Brandon) Meregillano, his brother Dakota (Fianc\u00e9 Annily), and his girlfriend Charlene Marquez and their unborn child.<\/p>\n

SGT Spencer Levi Hiatt lost his battle with PTS, January 26, 2015, in Orem, Utah. He was 24 years old.<\/p>\n
