Air Force Technical Sergeant Lissy Mayer, born January 23, 1976, in Corona, New York. Beloved wife of Jason A. Mayer; beloved daughter of Manuel Valdez and Teresa R. Moises; beloved sister of Sally Valdez-Schubert (Eric) of Marietta and Juan Manuel Valdez (Laura) of Orlando, Florida.<\/p>\n

Lissy was of the Catholic faith. She proudly served our country as a Tech Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserve having deployed several times, including to Afghanistan. Lissy was also currently enrolled at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and enjoyed volunteering with CASA for Children.<\/p>\n

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of three years, Jason A. Mayer of Byron; parents, Manuel Valdez of Dominican Republic and Teresa R. Moises of Miami, Florida; siblings, Sally Valdez-Schubert (Eric) of Marietta and Juan Manuel Valdez (Laura) of Orlando, Florida; and many adoring nieces and nephews, Alexander, Megan and Samantha Schubert, and Sean, Troy and Lawrence Valdez.<\/p>\n
