He attained the rank of Sergeant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He loved to fish and play Xbox360. He worked at Hardee Correctional Facility before and after his deployment to Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Loved ones left behind to cherish his memory, parents, Sheila Stewart and Mark Birch; siblings, Christopher Stewart and Alyssa Stewart; maternal grandparents, Carl and Lois Prestridge; paternal grandparents, Stanley and Nancy Birch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">SGT Matthew Brian Prestridge lost his battle with PTS on June 12, 2010.
