Marine Corporal Luis Rocha, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Mesquite, beloved son of Jose Rocha and Josefa Romo.<\/p>\n

Luis was a 2007 graduate of North Mesquite. He enlisted in the Marines upon graduation and served 4 years. Luis served in Afghanistan and Japan. He was currently in Active Reserves in Fort Worth, Texas, and was a full time student at the University of North Texas.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Feliciano Rocha and Raquel Ibarra.<\/p>\n

Those left to cherish his memory, his parents Jose Rocha and Josefa Romo; brothers Raul Rocha and Jose Rocha; sister Julianna Rocha; grandparents Carlos Romo and Juana Sanchez. Other survivors include his sister-in-law Katia; nephew Omar; niece Sofia; and sister-in-law Jennifer. Luis will be greatly missed.<\/p>\n

Cpl Luis Rocha lost his battle with PTS on January 18, 2013. He was 23 years old.<\/p>\n
