Army Specialist Thomas Michael Young of Des Plaines, Illinois. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, hero and friend.<\/p>\n

Tom was a 2003 graduate of Maine West High School in Des Plaines.<\/p>\n

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving two tours in Iraq assigned with 10th Mountain Division in support of the Global War on Terror. He attained the rank of Specialist.<\/p>\n

He was the beloved husband of Mindy Murillo, loving father of Vivienne and Maggie; cherished son of David and Nancy Young; treasured brother of William and James Young; cherished uncle of Erin.<\/p>\n

SPC Thomas M Young lost his battle with PTS on July 23, 2015 after calls to the Veterans Crisis Hotline went unanswered. He was 30 years old.<\/p>\n
