Army Sergeant Norman Alexander Worden of Larned, Kansas, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, hero and friend.<\/p>\n

He was born February 27, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of William F. and Nancy Gourdin Worden. A longtime area resident; he was a Military Veteran.<\/p>\n

He was of the Christian faith, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, both of Larned and Wounded Warriors.<\/p>\n

On September 13, 2014 he married Jordahn S. Perez in Larned. She survives.<\/p>\n

Other survivors include; his mother, Nancy Worden, Orem, Utah; three sons, William B. Worden, Hutchinson, Andrew C. Worden, Hutchinson, Broguhn Worden, Larned; a daughter, Brixton Worden, Larned; three brothers, Jacob E. Worden, Newton, Neal Worden, Larned and Willson S. Worden, Larned; a sister, Kindra Perez, Larned; mother and father-in-law, John and Shona Helms, Larned, and father-in-law Mike Perez, Protection.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by; his father, William F. Worden and his daughter, Forever Lila Worden.<\/p>\n

SGT Norman Alexander Worden lost his battle on October 15, 2017. He was 33 years old.<\/p>\n
