Army Sergeant Raymond W Warlikowski Jr of Melbourne, Florida, formerly of Centereach, Long Island, New York.<\/p>\n
A beloved son, father, brother, hero and friend.<\/p>\n
He\u00a0he was born on June 6, 1975 in Port Jefferson, New York and was raised in Centereach. He was graduate Schuylerville High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1994. He served his country in Germany, Bosnia and Korea and had four tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. He retired out of Fort Benning, Ga., on Jan. 30, 2014. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1017.<\/p>\n
Raymond cherished the time he spent with his daughter, Emma and extended family, Kaylynn, Madison, and Michael.<\/p>\n
In addition to his parents and daughter, other survivors include: a sister, Denise Gravell of Schenectady; four brothers, Andrew (Cindy) Warlikowski of Brocton, Bill (Shauna) Green of Austin, Texas, James M. (Vanessa) Green of Dunkirk and James G. (Julie) Warlikowski of Malta. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Shared with us from his mother, Jean:<\/strong><\/p>\n “My son was a good son and an amazing father to his daughter and stepchildren. He served all over the world. He served in the Army for 20 years. He did 4 tours in Iraq\/Afghanistan. Honorable Discharge, Decorated Uniform. He became a teacher when he was back in the states. Then he also went to night school. His Retirement photo had big smiles with the children. 2 years later I lost him to PTSD & Suicide. He was my pride and joy. Dearly loved\/ Dearly missed.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/lcpllutzlivetotell.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0629-1024x554.jpg\")
“August 2017 I did this display for my son and honor all of the soldier fallen. It was 660 flags all together representing how many soldiers lost in one month.
