Army Sergeant Shawn “RangerSmurf” M Reilly of Fairdale, Kentucky. Born in Pittsfield, May of 1967, beloved husband of Carrie.

He graduated from Floyd Kellam High School in Virginia Beach. He was a resident of Kentucky for three years.

He was employed for the United States Military in the United Sates army for Twenty Four Years. He retired from the military in 2010. He was part of Panama Operation (Just Cause) parachuting with the 75th Ranger Battalion. In 2007 he was deployed to (Operation Iraqi Freedom) with the 181st Engineer Company. He was the proud recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, Three Campaign Stars, the U.S. Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.

SGT Shawn M Reilly lost his battle with PTSD, October 16, 2011. He was 44 years old.
