Joshua Scott Blankenship, 25 – LCpl Janos V Lutz Live To Tell Foundation

US Marine Corporal Joshua Scott Blankenship, born December of 1984, in Columbia, South Carolina. Beloved son of Bobby Gene Blankenship, Jr. and Susan Seastrunk Rosales.

Josh grew up in Forest Acres where he attended Timmerman School, Cardinal Newman, and graduated from Camden Military Academy where he excelled in baseball. Josh was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and formerly attended Newberry College and Midlands Tech.

He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2003 and served two tours of duty in Iraq. The two loves of his life were playing piano and baseball. Josh was currently participating in the Recreational Saturday Baseball League at A.C. Flora High School.

Cpl Joshua Blankenship lost his battle with PTS, July 13, 2010, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was 25 years old.
