David Allan Bauders II, 25

David Allan Bauders II was born on April 28, 1991 in New York State. In his childhood, David traveled the country with his father’s US Army service.David attended Forest Grove High School in Forest Grove, OR, before receiving a full US Army ROTC scholarship to attend the University of Portland. David graduated from the University of Portland in 2013, attaining a BA degree in sociology with a minor in psychology, and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Washington Army National Guard. David attained the rank of First Lieutenant and was assigned to the 176th Engineer Company, based in Snohomish, Washington.

As a civilian, David served as a Trooper for the Washington State Patrol, where he completed academy in early 2014 and was assigned to the Seattle detachment. In early 2016, David was deployed with his National Guard unit for a tour in Kuwait and Iraq. David passed away on May 6, 2016 at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq. David will receive full military honors and will be interred at a military cemetery. David is survived by his mother, father, and two sisters.
