Army Sergeant Chad Evan Eppinette, born January of 1982, to Ed and Connie Eppinette, of Rayville; beloved husband to Kacey Eppinette; father to Leighton Eppinette of Rayville.
SGT Eppinette, a US Army combat veteran with the 3rd Infantry Division, Combat Engineer, served two tours in Iraq. He was the recipient of a Purple Heart and earned the rank of Sergeant.
SGT Chad Evan Eppinette lost his battle with PTSD, July 19, 2011. He was 29 years old.
