Arthur Drew Guise, 31

Arthur Drew Guise of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, a beloved son, brother, hero and friend.

Arthur was a 2002 alumnus of Northern High School. Following graduation, he worked, eventually enrolling at Eastern University in Philadelphia to study youth ministry.

Later, he got an engineering degree from Harrisburg Area Community College, and was a sales associate at 84 Lumber in Carroll Township.

For Arthur, 9/11 stayed in the back of his mind, and played a role in his decision to join the U.S. Army. He was deployed to Iraq in 2009 and 2011 in support of the Global War on Terror.

He had a genuine heart for others. He was also an avid outdoors man, brew & culinary enthusiast and car guy.

Arthur is survived by his mother and step-father, Kim L (Peters) and Richard T Peters of Dillsburg; his father, Lenard E Guise of Mt Holly Springs; one brother, Theron J Peters of Dillsburg; three sisters, Courtney R (and brother-in-law Craig B) Enterline of Wellsville, Ashley A Bushey and Katrina L Jury, both of Newport; one step-brother, Derek Snyder of Carlisle; maternal grandmother, Janet I Peters of Dillsburg; paternal grandmother, Lucille A Guise of Mt. Holly Springs; step-grandmother, Margaret A Schellhaas of Rome, NY and step-grandfather, Robert D Peters of Snowflake, AZ. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his best friend Jack.

SPC Arthur D Guise lost his battle on July 2, 2015. He was 31 years old


He fought the war in Iraq twice but lost the battle on American soil. Love you to the moon and beyond my dear loving Son.
