So very sad…wish I had met him. We all fight our battles in life…forgive us Father God for not allowing You to carry our burdens. It’s so hard when we drag all that weight with us…
One of the first NCO’s I ever had over me, and honestly one of the best NCO’s I’ve ever dealt with. I just found out about his passing through a friend and it was a complete surprise. David was stern, by the book, but had a passion for training soldiers and was always looking out for others. My heart goes out to his family. May you find peace in heaven David.
Thank you Kd. It is always heartwarming to read a new comment with a memory of my brother from someone he knew❤️
He was my son’s roommate when they were fresh out of basic. He became more of a extended family member than friend. We loved him he loved us. He was a kindhearted person and a hero.
