Justin Neil Davis, born October of 1989, in Millington, Tennessee, beloved son of Sherry Knight and Danny Davis, Sr (deceased); beloved husband of Carly Davis; beloved father of Delilah; beloved brother of Kristan, Chelsea, Madaline, Danny, Charles and Zachary.
Justin was a resident of Shelby and Fayette Counties in Tennessee for much of his life, receiving his education in Shelby County Public Schools. He served his country in the US Army and deployed to Iraq in 2009 as a mechanic in support of the Global War on Terror.
On July 15, 2014, Justin Neil Davis was reported sitting in his car feeling suicidal and armed with a rifle while suffering through a post-traumatic stress episode when he was shot and killed by three Germantown Police officers in Cameron Brown Park, Germantown, Tennessee. He was 24 years old.
