Patrick Lewis Maloney, born in Durham, New Hampshire, beloved son of Lewis and Lauri Sims Maloney; beloved husband of Sophy; beloved father of Phoenix and Selena Kou.
Patrick grew up in the Sanford/ Waterboro area; graduating from Massabesic High School with the Class of 2001. He was very proud to be a Massabesic Mustang.
Patrick served in the United States Navy with distinction and great courage, returning home in 2007. He began working as a residential care worker with Waban and Sweetser.
When Patrick returned home, there were many adjustments to civilian life. He struggled with PTS, but this would not define who he was as a young man.
Patrick possessed a loving and generous spirit. He willingly helped his family and his many friends. He was the one in the group that made everyone laugh and smile.
Patrick was blessed within his marriage to Sophy and together they celebrated in owning their home in Waterboro. He was a loving father to his son Phoenix and daughter Selena Kou. He will be forever loved by his mother, Lauri Maloney and his stepfather Jeff Ladebush; his father, Lewis F. Maloney, Jr. and wife Jean Macley; his siblings, Timothy Maloney and wife Karleen; Samuel Maloney; Shannon Kinkaid; and Daniel and Dustin Sims; David Ladebush and Kianna Ladebush.
Patrick Lewis Maloney lost his battle with PTS, December 1, 2013, in Waterboro, Maine. He was 32 years old.
