Sean Kuehl, 35

Marine Major Sean Frederick Kuehl of Middletown, was a MBA student at Georgia Tech.

January 2005, he was deployed to Ramadi, Iraq, with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Regiment, 1st Marine Division, as an assistant intelligence officer. This unit was responsible for maintaining order in much of Ramadi.

Major Sean Frederick Kuehl lost his battle with PTSD, June 19, 2013, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was 35 years old.

    Sean was an amazingly intelligent, friendly and dedicated Marine Officer whom I had the opportunity to serve with. Such a tragedy to lose such a gifted and humble leader and friend. You are missed my friend! My prayer is that others would know how infinity valuable they are to their unit, their family and to God. Semper Fidelis! -Michael
