Army Specialist Thomas Michael Young of Des Plaines, Illinois. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, hero and friend.
Tom was a 2003 graduate of Maine West High School in Des Plaines.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving two tours in Iraq assigned with 10th Mountain Division in support of the Global War on Terror. He attained the rank of Specialist.
He was the beloved husband of Mindy Murillo, loving father of Vivienne and Maggie; cherished son of David and Nancy Young; treasured brother of William and James Young; cherished uncle of Erin.
SPC Thomas M Young lost his battle with PTS on July 23, 2015 after calls to the Veterans Crisis Hotline went unanswered. He was 30 years old.
