Tyler Douglas “Doc” Wolfe, of Rigby, Idaho, beloved son of Cinde and John Wolfe; beloved brother of Victoria; and his cherished fiancée, Amanda and baby son, Sayer.

Tyler was an intelligent, adventurous child whose cheerful charm brightened the lives of family and friends. He valued his lifelong, loyal childhood friendships with Adam Hanson, Travis Foster and Jace Poulsen as he grew up in Rigby.

He helped his grandmother, Joan, raise golden retrievers, gifted Tyler with a love for man’s best friend. After graduating from Rigby High School in 2004, he could often be seen with a dog in the back of a muddy pickup after a happy day spent four-wheeling in the mountains.

In his youth, Tyler loved to assist his grandfather, Doug, and uncles, Dave and Richard, in home construction. He learned pragmatic skills from this experience and was always ready to help others with projects and repair.

As a boy, while spending time at the Poulsens’ family home, Tyler discovered a love for farm and ranch work. His passion for the beautiful landscapes of Montana and Idaho made for a natural outdoorsman. Tyler loved hiking and could easily climb mountain paths endlessly. Exploring ghost towns and camping were his summertime highlights.

Tyler was a war veteran and active member of the Army Reserve. He entered into military service in 2007. Tyler graduated from Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in Medic Training at the top of his class, earning the nickname “Doc.” During 2009 and 2010, Tyler served a tour in Iraq, fighting for his nation’s freedom and protecting the men and women who fought alongside him. He continued his military service afterwards at Joint Base Fort Lewis-McCord in Lakewood, Wash. His memory lasts with his soldier brothers, Baynes, Kilpatrick, O’Brian and many others.
