Benjamin “Nick” Nickolas Becker, 36

Benjamin “Nick” Nickolas Becker of Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Nick was born on October 13, 1980, in Charleston, SC. He is the son of Marcia C. Higaki and Michael A. Becker.

He served our country in a U.S. Army Infantry Stryker Unit from 2004 until 2010 and the U.S. Army Reserves from 2010 until 2012.

Surviving in addition to his parents, Marcia and Michael; are one brother, Robert Thomas Mitchell and his very dear friend, who was like his brother, Geremy Curtis (friends since middle school). In addition to many aunts, uncles, and cousins, he was especially close to his Aunt Diana and Uncle Drennan Park, and his fur-baby, Roxy (who was kindly adopted by Dr. Brian Canada).

Nick was highly intelligent, generous to a fault, had an acerbic wit that was appreciated by most if not all his friends and family, and adored his military brothers. When he loved, he loved deeply and was always faithful. He will be missed by too many to count.

Nick Becker lost his battle with PTS on March 31, 2017. He was 36 years old.
