Brian P Odiorne, 21

 

Army Private First Class Brian Odiorne, of Ware, Massachusetts, died in a non-combat incident while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve in Anbar Province, Iraq.

He was deployed with 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, a unit from Fort Hood,Texas.

Odiorne, 21, joined the Army in October 2015 as a cannon crewmember. He had been assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division since May 2016.

His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Medal. He will be posthumously awarded the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal and Overseas Service Ribbon, officials said.

    For everyone who knew my son he was happy n uplifting always put a smile on everyones face sometimes he was just quite being the youngest does teaches you this. I miss Brian’s smile everyday.
