Marine Sergeant Bryan M Morgan, born October 18, 1987, in South Bend, Indiana.
In 2006, Bryan graduated from Penn High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served with the 5th Battalion 10th Marines, 2nd Division. During the time served, from 2006 to 2012, he obtained the rank of Sergeant, and completed one tour in Iraq.
Surviving are his son, Aiden M. Morgan of Princeton, W.Va., and his parents, Don M. “Mike” (Sue) Morgan of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Brenda K. (Brian) Rydzinski of Osceola. Bryan is also survived by his siblings, Brandon M. (Sarah) Morgan, currently stationed in Japan, and his sister, Mackenzie G. Morgan of Edwardsburg. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Hazel Gartin of Mishawaka, and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Steven M. Johnson, maternal grandfather Robert Gartin and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Grace Morgan.
In his spare time, Bryan loved playing softball, shooting pool, playing volleyball and cooking. He was employed with Forest River in Wakarusa, where he was on the RV production line.
Bryan’s generous and caring nature led him to make the decision to become an organ donor, and has so far given the gift of life to several others in need.
Sgt Bryan M Morgan lost his battle with PTS, September 5, 2015. He was 27 years old.
