Marine Sergeant Jeremy Arsiaga, of Midland, Texas, was born on September 6, 1983. On September 4, 2015, he was welcomed into the arms of his brother Robert and his father Gilbert Arsiaga Sr.
He spent most of his education at Greenwood School District. Jeremy graduated from Midland High School in 2002. He would go on to join the Marine Corp while still in high school. He became a Marine in June of 2002. This was something he took great pride in being part of the Marine Corp. He had a great love for his Devil Dog brothers.
Jeremy married Patricia, his loving and beautiful wife on October 17, 2003. Together they had 3 beautiful sons. He had an older son from a previous relationship. He took great pride in his children, he loved and treasured them more than anything in his life. He was a great father. He also loved his nieces and nephews. They all looked up to him. Some he understood more than most and had great patience and love for them.
He also loved fishing. His favorite past time was picking on his family and friends, that is how you know you were loved by him.
More than anyone else his loved his mother, Sylvia, there wasn’t anything he would do for her. At the time of his death he worked for Fasken, oil and ranch. He loved his job and he found many friendships and extended family there. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church where he had accepted the Lord as his savior. Everywhere Jeremy went he made friends and you walked away from this man with a great love and respect.
He will forever be missed and loved by us all. Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Arsiaga Sr; his brother, Spc. Robert Ray Arsiaga; grandparents, George Sr. and Juana Arsiaga and Modesto and Anita Munoz. Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Arsiaga of Midland, TX; sons, Adam Gilbert Arsiaga of Odessa, TX, Robert Ray Arsiaga, Silas Reid Arsiaga and Iain Zeke Arsiaga all of Midland, TX. He is also survived by his mother, Sylvia Munoz Macias of Midland, TX; three brothers, Gilbert Arsiaga Jr and George Arsiaga both of Galveston, TX and Mathew Arsiaga of Midland, TX; three sisters, Angel Munoz and Robi Galindo both of Midland, TX and Michelle Mancha of Odessa, TX; his in-laws, Oscar and Otilla Vallin of Midland, TX; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Sgt Jeremy Arsiaga lost his battle with PTS, September 4, 2015. He was 31 years old.
