Douglas Kelvin Fine

He was born December 30, 1987, at West Plains, Missouri, to Kelvin Fine and Gayla Hayes Owens.  Mr. Fine was a veteran, having served with the United States Army.  He was very intelligent and had a great sense of humor.  The last years of his life Mr. Fine worked with the homeless and those battling addiction.  He adored playing with his son and was looking forward to the arrival of his daughter, Scarlet.  Douglas was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Kelvin Fine, wife, Donna, West Plains; his mother, Gayla Owens, husband, Bruce, Salem, Missouri; fiancé, Maranda Styczyski, Springfield; one son, Greyson Sean Styczyski; two brothers, Clint Holt, wife, Patty, West Plains and Scott Holt, wife, Christine, St. Louis; three sisters, Kayla Fine, Houston, Missouri, Kelsey Bush, husband, Stephen, Salem, Missouri and Daphne Graham, husband, Chris, West Plains; grandmothers, Laura Fine, West Plains, and Janice Hayes, Caulfield, Missouri; great-grandmother, Lucy Tackitt, West Plains; aunts and uncles, Trin Wilson, Terry Fine, Tammy Fine and Keith Fine; cousins, Erica, Samantha, Russell and Nicholas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His grandfathers, John Fine and Jim “Kitten” Hayes, proceeded him in death.

Douglas Fine died at 6:15 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2015. He was laid to rest on September 13, 2015 at Baptist Hill Cemetery.
