LCDR Gary E Murray, born November of 1952, in Milford, Delaware, beloved husband of Leila Murray of Orlando.
We celebrate his life and salute retired Navy Lieutenant Commander, Gary E Murray. He served in the US Navy for 30 years and was a highly decorated veteran having served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm and other conflicts of war.
While serving our country, Gary received Navy Commendation Medals, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, National Defense Service Medals, Good Conduct Awards, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendations, Navy “E” Ribbons, Navel Unit Commendations, Kuwait Liberation Medals, NATO Medal, Navy Recruiting Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medals, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal and the Joint Meritorious Unit Award.
He served his country proudly with dauntless courage, dignity, and the type of leadership that paved the way for others in the military.
LCDR Garry E Murray lost his battle with PTSD, September 4, 2013. He was 60 years old.
