US Marine Corporal James “Jimmy” Kalitz, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, beloved son of Harry G. Kalitz of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina and the late Michelle Kalitz; his beloved Kelly Tees of Erial, New Jersey; and his adoring daughters Gianna Tees, Kamryn Kalitz, and Kenzie Kalitz.
Jimmy proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a combat veteran with deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 2nd Tank Battalion. He earned the rank of corporal.
He will always be remembered for his kind heart and infectious smile.
He is also survived by grandmother Margaret “Chickie” Kalitz of Philadelphia; sister Michelle Kalitz and Jim McDonald of Wilmington, NC; in-laws Robert, Carolee, Bobby & Michael Tees of Erial; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers in arms and friends.
Cpl James S Kalitz lost his battle with PTS, August 27, 2014, in Hampstead, North Carolina. He was 32 years old.
