Jordan Blake Roberts, 27

Marine Sergeant Jordan Blake Roberts of Hampstead, North Carolina, a dedicated and loyal father, husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Originally from Norfolk, Virginia, Jordan joined the US Marine Corps in 2007 and was stationed at Camp Lejeune. As a proud Marine, he had a genuine love for his Marine brothers. He served two tours to Afghanistan in 2009 and 2011 and was medically discharged in 2016.

Jordan was currently a student at Coastal Carolina Community College. He was a dedicated and loyal father, husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Jordan is survived by his wife Sarrah, beloved daughter Lilliana whom he loved with all his heart. Jordan is the son of Walter J. Bruderer, Jr of Fayetteville, NC and Dorinda Roberts of Jacksonville, NC. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Sky Sawyers of Jacksonville; step-father, Joey Sawyers of Norfolk, VA; grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Bruderer of Jacksonville; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sgt Jordan Blake Roberts lost his battle on November 14, 2017. He was 27 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.

Burial, with military honors, will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home.

    Oh dear family of young Sgt Jordan Blake Roberts, we grieve with you because it is such a shattering traged. Please accept our heartfelt condolences! We salute your courageous warrior and pray Jordan is resting by the Divine and Eternal Light until reunited again with his loved ones. In the meantime be assured of offering his loved ones citizens of this great nation our deepest appreciation and respect…WE WILL NEVER FORGET and will continue to hold the brave Sergeant Roberts in highest esteem and gratitude.
