Let us honor the service of Officer Lauren Fulmer. Officer Fulmer served the Oklahoma State Police Department for three years and had left the department to finish her final year of nursing school, she died by suicide on July 1, 2020.
Lauren was born June 2, 1993 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas and was a 2011 graduate of South Barber High School. She enjoyed the company of her family, friends and connecting with children; she enjoyed hiking and running, oftentimes with her much loved dog Kingsley, she was passionate about physical fitness and inspired others on their fitness journeys with personal training. Lauren was a graduate of Cleet academy and was also about to enter her last year of college to acquire her nursing degree.
Lauren is survived by her parents, Cara and Mark Smith; siblings, Ashley Lee, Clinton (Angi) Brogan, Ky Smith, Kenneth (Sheila) Brogan, Morgan (Aaron) McDonald, Samantha (Justin) Siler, Nicole (Cody) Briggs; grandparents, Robert Brogan, Beth and Wes Smith; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends, Heather and Shawn Millermon and their two children, as well as so many other friends. She will be missed tremendously.
