Marine Corporal Luis Rocha, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Mesquite, beloved son of Jose Rocha and Josefa Romo.
Luis was a 2007 graduate of North Mesquite. He enlisted in the Marines upon graduation and served 4 years. Luis served in Afghanistan and Japan. He was currently in Active Reserves in Fort Worth, Texas, and was a full time student at the University of North Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Feliciano Rocha and Raquel Ibarra.
Those left to cherish his memory, his parents Jose Rocha and Josefa Romo; brothers Raul Rocha and Jose Rocha; sister Julianna Rocha; grandparents Carlos Romo and Juana Sanchez. Other survivors include his sister-in-law Katia; nephew Omar; niece Sofia; and sister-in-law Jennifer. Luis will be greatly missed.
Cpl Luis Rocha lost his battle with PTS on January 18, 2013. He was 23 years old.
