US Marine Michael Shawn Price, born May 21, 1969, in San Diego, California, beloved husband, father, son, brother, hero and friend.
Michael worked as a radio communication tech with the Fort Wayne Police Department. He served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp, the United States Army, and the National Guard. He was a very decorated solider that accomplished much during his time of service. He served in active duty during the Desert Storm.
Michael was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church. Michael’s motto in life was to be, “always faithful, in God, country, and family”.
Surviving are his wife, Stephanie McKenzie Price of Fort Wayne; son, Matthew Mckenzie Meyer of Fort Wayne; daughter, Mary Katherine Price; father, Thomas Price of Prescott, AZ; mother, Margaret Price of Lakeside, CA; sister, Leslie Williams of Escondido, CA; mother-in-law, Linda McKenzie of Fort Wayne; nephew, Joseph McDonald of Austin, TX; niece, Chelsea Niemeyer of Fort Wayne, IN; and many other nieces and nephews.
Michael Shawn Price lost his battle with PTS, February 18, 2015, in Fort Wayne. He was 45 years old.
