Marine Sergeant Ryan C Boyer of Elmhurst, Illinois, a beloved husband, son, brother, hero and friend.
Ryan was born and raised in Elmhurst and a graduate of York Community High School.
Boyer, with six honorable years of military service with the United States Marine Corps, he attained the rank of sergeant. He deployed twice to Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terror, tragically lost his battle with combat related Post-Traumatic Stress. He was 28 years old.
He was the beloved Husband of Carla Boyer, Loving Son of Brett Boyer; Step-son of Robin Little and Brien Cichy; Dearest brother of Brittany Kappler and John Ackerman. Uncle of Nick and Chloe.
