US Marine Lance Corporal Theodore Jones, IV, of Maryville, Tennessee. Beloved son of Theodore Jones III and Vickie; beloved brother of Lea and Stephanie; beloved husband of Angel Becker Jones; beloved father of daughter Jordyn and unborn child.
Jones IV enlisted in May 2003, graduated from recruit school in September 2004 and deployed in January 2005. He completed four deployments to Iraq, one deployment to Afghanistan and several classified missions. The first two Iraq deployments were the same trip, as the Marine was injured, sent to Kuwait for treatment and redeployed to Iraq.
LCpl Theodore Jones, IV was shot and killed by police while suffering through a Post Traumatic Stress flashback. He was 28 years old.
