Lieutenant Robert Daniel Spoon of Chicago, Illinois, the loving father of Jaxon Spoon; Proud son of the late Maureen Welsh (the late George Jessie) and Mark (Shelly) Spoon; Dear brother of Mark Spoon Jr., Brandon Spoon and Austin Jessie.
He served 10 years of duty with Hometown Fire Department and 2 1/2 years with the Chicago Fire Department/Parametric. He received the Fireman of the year award in 2015. His drive and dedication for his job and for being an amazing father to his 2 year old son, were just a few of his most admirable traits.
Tragically, Lt Robert Spoon, lost his battle on June 1, 2017. He was 28 years old.
