Army Specialist Andrew “KP” Kilpatrick, 20, of Milton Fla., lost the battle with his demons February 21, 2014. Kilpatrick served as a Satellite Communication Systems Operator with the 181st Signal Company.
“He always welcomed the new soldiers, always had the hugest smile, and laughter that was undeniably contagious,” said his aunt, Carrie Mcduffel. “He was a protector of the underdog and the soldiers that were loners… He loved to sing while running training for 10ks and couldn’t carry a tune if it was in a bucket duck taped to him. He loved fishing and cleaning them for the elders. He touched the lives of everyone he met.”
