Marine Lance Corporal Jack E Lee of Oak View, California, beloved son, brother, hero and friend.
Jack was born on August 25, 1988 and was a life long resident of Oak View. He was a 2006 graduate of Nordhoff High School in Ojai, California.
At the age of 18, Jack joined the United States Marine Corps. He attended boot camp at MCRD San Diego and graduated on February 2, 2007.
Lance Corporal Lee deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 to support the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines Regiment, Fox and Echo Company with Artillery rounds in Helmand Province during Operation Enduring Freedom. He attained the rank of Lance Corporal.
Jack enjoyed fishing, country music, driving, camping and a cold beverage. He was employed as a Journeyman Wireman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) 952 in Ventura, California since 2010.
Jack’s favorite movie was Tombstone and his favorite quote was “when the going gets tough, the tough get going”.
Lance Cpl Jack E Lee lost his battle with PTS on September 28, 2016. He was 28 years old.
