1LT Phillip J.E. Kent of Beaufort, South Carolina, born June 24, 1979, the beloved son of Laura Nicolai Kent and Russell John Kent.

Phil joined the United States Army and deployed to the Middle East in support of the Global War on Terror. He served bravely and honorably during the Operation Iraqi Freedom campaign, attaining the rank of First Lieutenant.

Phillip lost his battle with PTS on September 28th, 2005. He was 26 years old.
