John Stewart Beasley, 46

John Stewart Beasley was born in Killeen, TX on January 13, 1972 and passed away on August 7, 2018 in Cove, TX. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1992 and went on to attend and play baseball at Hill Junior College as well as San Jacinto College before graduating from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX with a degree in Criminal Justice. On December 20, 1994 he married Donna Faulkner; they were married for 24 years.

He was a 23 year veteran of the Baytown Police Department. He was heavily involved in the Citizens Police Academy, Alumni Association, and many other community service projects. He loved working on the recently purchased property where he and Donna were in the process of building a new home. He also enjoyed working out, attending his power lifting meets, and baseball.

Stewart is preceded in death by his sister Karen Beasley and father John Herbert Beasley. He is survived by his wife Donna Beasley, son Tyler Beasley, aunt Zona Beasley Craig, cousins Tara Owens and Lance Craig, mother-in-law Wanda Faulkner, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lacey and Jason Brumley, and nephews Seth and Grant Brumley.
