Kyle David Whisler, 29 – LCpl Janos V Lutz Live To Tell Foundation

US Marine Corporal Kyle David Whisler, born March of 1981, in Midland. He graduated from Midland High School in 1999.

After graduation Kyle enlisted with the US Marine Corps and proudly served in both Kuwait and Iraq until his discharge in 2008.

On July 7, 2007, he married the former Shannon Olexen in Florida. Kyle was an Eagle Scout and was currently employed as a server at the Tampa Bay Brewing Company in Tampa, Florida. Kyle’s infectious, warm personality and contagious smile touched many people and he became an instant friend to all he met.

Cpl Kyle David Whisler lost his battle with PTSD, October 25, 2010, in Brandon, Florida. He was 29 years old.

Kyle, you will always be remembered you are not lost you were here for a reason and you will be missed. God loves you and all of our fallen!
