US Marine Lance Corporal Matthew Ryan Pritchett, born July of 1986, in Novi, Michigan. Beloved husband of 1.5 years to Marissa Pritchett; Loving son of Denise (Del Akers) Sweet; Son in law of Robert and Susan Shipe; Brother in law of Michelle S. and Robert M. Shipe.
He was a 2005 graduate of Walled Lake Western High School where he was a Varsity Swimmer.
LCpl. Pritchet served as a Mechanic in the U.S. Marine Corp. 3521 Motor T, Second Maintenance Division. He was loved dearly by his wife, his mother, his entire family, and all of his friends.
LCpl Matthew Ryan Pritchett lost his battle with PTSD, July 20, 2009, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was 23 years old.
