Army Staff Sergeant Michael V Delcampo Sr, born June of 1986, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He grew up in Hi Nella, New Jersey, and was a 2005 graduate of Sterling High School. He was also a former member of the Hi Nella Fire Department.
Michael honorably served his country in the United States Army. He served two tours of duty in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He will be remembered as a true hero that would go the extra mile and lend his heart and soul to help others. Michael was a phenomenal father, brother, husband, son, friend and soldier. He will be deeply missed by his five young children, one brother and two sisters, as well as the Delcampo and Cunningham families.
SSG Michael V Delcampo Sr. lost his battle with PTS, June 11, 2013, in Olympia, Washington. He was 26 years old.
