Army Sergeant Spencer Levi Hiatt, born August 2, 1989 in Tucson, Arizona. Beloved son of Jeffrey L Hiatt and Cristina L Kelly; beloved brother of Haile, Dakota and Tacy.
During his childhood his family lived in Tucson Arizona, Houston Texas, Charlotte North Carolina, Conway Arkansas, and finally in Cedar Hills Utah.
Shortly after high school, Spencer joined the United States Army. He served a tour in Afghanistan and another in Kuwait. He received numerous awards, medals and recognitions for his honorable service. He began attending UVU last fall working toward a degree in Nutrition.

I’m so so sorry. reading your comment made me cry. I’m so sorry. your brother helped me a lot when I lost my only child. he would sit and talk to me and boy did that held me. I know that doesn’t take away any pain , but your brother is and always be a hero to me .. I wish he knew he had so many people to talk to. this person here in will never forget him. I cried when I heard the news. if you and your son ever want to come to NY ill be your escort and you can stay at my place. I tell all the guys if they need to get away let me know and we can talk might be good for you son.. I’m sorry again.

I just barely saw your comment . Thank you & I’m so sorry for your loss. Spencer could be such a pain in the ass at times, but he had a heart of gold! Doesn’t surprise me to hear he comforted you..His own first 18 years of life weren’t easy. Because of that he strived to be that someone for others, a shoulder to lean on, to comfort and love , especially those who often felt unlovable. Spence always had my back..he was such a goofy stud. I miss him <3
RIP SOLDIER!
