Lindsey Marie Hartley, 35

Marine Corporal Lindsey Marie Jones Gribbin Hartley beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, hero and friend.
Lindsey was born Jan. 6, 1983, in Fort Worth. She graduated from Burleson High School in 2001. She studied at the University of Texas at Arlington following graduation from high school and was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority while at UTA.
After school, she proudly served her country as a member of the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of corporal.
Lindsey loved animals, but especially cats. Everything cats. She was a talented artist. Lindsey could light up a room with her personality and her beaming smile. Lindsey’s children were the most precious thing in her life, Madison, Jesse and Journey.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Lois Painter; and paternal grandparents, Wanda Jones and Norman B. Jones.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Cody; daughter, Madison; stepchildren, Jesse and Journey; mother, Janet (Rob); father, Mark (Judy); mother-in-law, Dorris; brother, Kyle (Tiffani); brother-in-law, Corey; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Cpl Lindsey Marie Hartley lost her battle on August 12, 2018. She was 35 years old.

    She is a hero to her country, to her family and to those who understand the sacrifice that must be made when you serve our country. Thank you for serving and may you rest in peace. May God comfort your family in their time of need.
