Army Sergeant Norman Alexander Worden of Larned, Kansas, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, hero and friend.
He was born February 27, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of William F. and Nancy Gourdin Worden. A longtime area resident; he was a Military Veteran.
He was of the Christian faith, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, both of Larned and Wounded Warriors.
On September 13, 2014 he married Jordahn S. Perez in Larned. She survives.
Other survivors include; his mother, Nancy Worden, Orem, Utah; three sons, William B. Worden, Hutchinson, Andrew C. Worden, Hutchinson, Broguhn Worden, Larned; a daughter, Brixton Worden, Larned; three brothers, Jacob E. Worden, Newton, Neal Worden, Larned and Willson S. Worden, Larned; a sister, Kindra Perez, Larned; mother and father-in-law, John and Shona Helms, Larned, and father-in-law Mike Perez, Protection.
He was preceded in death by; his father, William F. Worden and his daughter, Forever Lila Worden.
SGT Norman Alexander Worden lost his battle on October 15, 2017. He was 33 years old.
