Marine Lance Corporal Stephen Lynn Zack, born October of 1979 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.

Stephen proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. He would go on to make his career in automobile supply and currently served as the assistant manager of National Tire and Battery. Well known throughout his life for his keen intelligence and creativity, Stephen was a devoted scholar of both physics and astronomy. He read widely in all types of science fiction and was also a gifted writer of his own science fiction tales. Other favorite pastimes included participating in autocross racing, camping with family and friends, and attending music concerts.

Lance Cpl Stephen Lynn Zack lost his battle with PTSD, August 21, 2013. He was 33 years old.
